Sissy Spacek, Alba Cell, Penis Geyser, Sulfuric Cautery
January 17 @ 9:00 pm
A night of full-blast anti-music insanity.
A special set of torrential hellish chaos
Led by sound artist John Wiese, Sissy Spacek are one of the most difficult and unclassifiable groups around.
Using blur/grindcore as a reference point and pushing it into a musique concrète blender, they unleash unending brutality onto their explorations into the extreme fringes of sound. Lines between noisecore, grindcore, punk, free jazz, power electronics, harsh noise, electro-acoustic improv, collage, industrial, and heavy metal become dissected, fragmented and obliterated to create a maniacal new sound all their own.
Always an annihilating treat live, for this show the duo of John Wiese and Charlie Mumma will be expanded to include members of Wasteland Jazz Unit.
Hypno electronics from Alex York (Torn Light/No Heat/etc.)
Ohio noisecore trash heroes
Dayton gorefueled grindstorm (members of Choking, ex-Hyperemesis)
